I dont get why mighty blow would be good with doubles to someone who already has claw... Why not RSC... +2 & +2 is better than +2 & +1.
And Dirty player to all zombies... With 3 assists on foul on av 8 player has 60% chance of at least knocking him out (35% chance of at least badly hurt). And 42% chance of getting ejected if ref has eye on you. And on 99% of situations the player getting fouled is better than your zombie. So try to foul on every turn as good player as possible and try to get as many assists as possible.
Even with one assist the odds of at least ko is same as your zombie getting ejected, so it would be a wise move to foul. |

'Wolves have no M access.
It's true that MB + Claw is not an ideal combo: but the redundancy isn't too bad. |

Zerkalo, that's because wolves do not have access to mutations, so they can't get RSC. |

To the original poster:
While Necros might not be the most competitive team at high TR you're not actually making it easy on yourself. That zombie of yours isn't doing anything to justify his boost to your TR and not using Ghouls obviously makes your list a weaker one than it could otherwise have been (even though you might consider them useless). So basically - if you want a team to compete at high TR don't hamper yourself. Otherwise just accept that you are handicapping your own team deliberately In the end it all boils down to one thing - having fun. How one gets his/her fun is up to the individual but it's non the less what it's all about.

Sack Clip. He might be the nicest zombie I have ever seen, but he doesn't add 47 TR by himself. That'll drop the TR down to 167 which is much more competitive for the rest of the team. |

Ok guys, i thought i would just thank you for your input, i know CLIP is adding 47 TR and i have had only very short winnings since i cant keep my fans above 10. I will try and keep clip as long as possible until the team can not physically field 11 players. Thanks again for your input |

np Soultoken, but remember, Clip isn't just draining your winnings, he's forcing you to play teams that are effectively better then yours! Bite the bullet and sack him now. He's a niggler, spp drain and general ball and chain. Sack him! |

Well, I myself wouldn't retire Clip. But that's just because I don't play to be as competitive as possible, I play only for fun. And to develope a Zombie like that, I'd fallen in love with him if he were mine. It's just a matter of opinion. If you get your ass kicked by better teams, and don't like that, just sack him. I wouldn't. |

The power of any given team is relative. In the current incarnation of the game, necros aren't very competetive because other teams are built quite well. When vault rolls around, Necros will probably be the most competetive regen team in the game. The reason this is important is because in vault, an apo is significantly worse than regen and the other regen teams won't stack up against necros.
The other regen teams are: Undead, Khemri, and Nurgle.
In vault, necros gain in that they have slightly cheaper FGs, regen on Wolves, and S access on wights. The downside is zombies are now 40k instead of 30k, but remain the best overall cheap lineman in the game.
Undead and khemri are going to see a HUGE nerf in that mummies will no longer have G access and may also be getting Loner (the vault version of Big Guy). This cuts right to a core strength of these teams, especially khemri. I'd much rather have an FG with GS access than a mummy with just S access and Loner. That and wolves with one double will have the best damage combo available in the game (Claw/MB).
Nurgle will be an interesting team among regen teams, but not quite up to snuff against Necros because zombies are simply superior to Rotters as linefodder.
For the time being I'd avoid Necros unless you're just playing them for fun and theme. But when vault comes out, I will probably switch to them as my primary team. |
