well, some of us have iPods, why not make a proper use of them!
i remember FUMBBL FM, never got a chance to listen to it, but maybe those guys may be interested in doing a FUMBBL podcast?
what would you have on it? a roundup of the weeks gossip, scandal, big match reviews?

Well, some people might not know what podcasts are, and might think that they're an iPod thing only. To be honest, your posts says it too, and iPods are quite expensive, so people might not have a lot of them. |

...which, IIRC, works on Win XP/2000, while SOMEONE here happens to be running 98 *grumble* |

podcasts are regular mp3-files so they work on any media player that can play them.
And I think it's an awesome idea. I'd love to hear some fumbbl podcasting, I would try to a stab at it myself... Or well, at most I could do some kind of few-minute thingie in the main thingie... Or something. It would be cool. |

does skype allow multi user conversations? could be good for those big matches with all the specs, or for heated discussions! where you could record the conversations, doesnt need to be weekly and not 30 mins long like the Chris Moyles (for UK folks) BBC Radio 1 podcast |

Well, I'd love the podcasts then. And for multi-user conversation, you can use teamspeak. Skype doesn't work on my computer, and I can't talk in Teamspeak, but at least I can listen. Ahh, isn't it lovely having a crap computer with Windows 98? Well, at least Xcom: Ufo works.
Edit: Oops, seems I understood what you said wrong. But I still don't think Skype would be good. Sure, maybe for some of it, but I bet there are better ways. |

Skype Conference chat allow 5 people to talk each other. Never tried that, though. |

I think this is a good idea, even if you just stick to traditional radio people could start up their own Fumbbl Radio Stations. Could be quite cool |

Maybe something for Malthor to consider for the Major tournaments, perhaps a roundup of the weeks/fortnights games, maybe interviewing the participants etc... |

This would be an excellent idea. Logistics would be a big challenge. I see my role more as publishing/managing the podcast rather than conducting the interviews though... what we need for this to happen is for some people interested in running with it.
Just like walks_in_the_sun did interviews with a heap of FUMBBL Cup coaches and we published them through Tournament News Tonight. |
