You are invited to join the K League
This is an open round robin tournament lasting four weeks.
Play any opponent in any order at any time.
1. No CR limits
2. A team cannot play any other matches until the league is over.
3. A team must play their first game within two weeks of the league starting or risk being replaced.
4. Team must be an official LRB race.
5. Team must bein the [L]eague division
6. Star players/Freebooters allowed.
7. Wizards allowed!
8. Please don't concede even if your team has to spend the last 4 turns running for their lives.
9. Please try to complete ALL your games. No dodging!
Win - 5pts, draw - 2pts, defeat 1pt.
Each league will have 8-12 teams. If all slots are not filled other teams may join after the league has started.
If places are short then teams with higher TR will have priority.
Each league will last around 4 weeks. (unless all games are played before that)
This is a first past the post league. The team with most points wins. You must make reasonable attempt to play ALL games.
Get your games played and points scored early.
Do you have the K League Spirit?
# Don't join unless you intend to make a reasonable attempt to play all your games.
# Don't join unless you are prepared to play any team accepted into the league.
# Don't join unless you are prepared to carry on playing even though you have very little chance of winning or making the playoffs.
# Don't join unless you are prepared to start a game with less than 10 players.
# Don't join with a team that you are not prepared to lose.
# Don't join if you're going to have a fit if someone fouls, stalls, crowd pushes e.t.c. 
# Don't join if you're going to be on holiday for six weeks during the season.

My beloved Orcs have started returning to their normal form and lost our match against PeteW's Salad Dodgers before pulling off the most ridiculous last turn TD to rob Meetgrinder of a more than deserved point.
Surrounded by 4 longbeards my lone blitzer foght his way free to go for it into the end zone before catching the perfectly spiralled long pass coming in from Da Lobber. 
Only low point being the 4 SI sufferred so now may be the besttime to challenge theBattlerz. |

You played very well Phil - if not for your crumbly Orcs (after mine had spent the first 3 turns getting up and you ran the ball home) it might have been more, but at least my Dwarves did something right in making their mark (with an iron studded fist) - sorry about the mess
That touchdown... well, not sure what to say.
-2 dice block where I get to choose, 4+ 4+ dodge in tackle zones, gfi, pass, avoid interception (not hard vs Dwarves) catch and score. Took all my willpower not to swear, I can tell ya :S
Good luck in rest o the tourney - I don't think my team will get far, but if I can carve my way through a few more orcs (there seems to be an abundance of em) I'll get my fun that way rather than being a serious challenger
I do owe PeteW a bit of a kicking though - last time we played my team was tipped over a table by Nuffle, and despite the diceraping he took time to drop a foul in the middle, so hopefully my Dwarves can leave an iron hobnail shaped footprint in his team's ass. Oh yeah, and score, or something

Congrats to Phil78 for winning the K League 200 Regular season after some tough, bruising matches.
Bigkahunna, PeteW and Runic join Phil in the playoffs for the Grand Championship.
Good luck guys.
You can sign up for season II now. We aim to get started on Friday 19th May so you have a little time to get your team into shape.
We still have some places open in 'Unlimited' and maybe '200'.
This is an open round robin tournament for 8-12 high TR teams. There are two divisions. Max TR 200 and unlimited TR.
The league is likely to run for around 5 weeks.
1. No CR or TS limits
2. A team cannot play any other matches until the league is over.
3. A team must play their first game within two weeks of the league starting or risk being replaced.
4. Team must be an official LRB race.
5. Team must be [U]nranked.
6. Star players/Freebooters allowed.
7. Wizards allowed!
8. Please don't concede even if your team has to spend the last 4 turns running for their lives.
9. Please don't just play 1 or 2 games then quit.
The top four teams progress to the playoffs to compete for the 'Grand Championship'.
Season II will be based around European time zones so coaches close to BST and CET will have an advantage when it comes to getting matches played.

Huge congrats to PeteW and Phil78 for making it through to the Grand Championship Final.
It's been a tough road, five deaths in two semi finals but they're there.
Let us know when the final will be guys. It's sure to be a cracker.
I hope that you have enough players left to come back for season II.
