Any one played Blood Bowl online on other sites?
I found a place www.olbbl.com whom had online bb on a mirc client or some thing like that. I have not tried the site. Just curious about what sites are out there and if you tried them how they are like. I know of french bb too.

Don’t worry folks I am not looking to leave fumbbl Very Happy

Well, there are quite a few Play By Mail leagues online I know of, but I have never tried them myself. Quite a large portion of the NAF/Tabletop crowd plays there.

OLBBL is certainly not crap, but they use old rules and most important a crappy client which makes games take at least 2 hours. You have to type commands for all dice yourself and such.

Perhaps crap was too strong a term for a league with a small player base, running off an obsolete client, with a huge amount of "house rules". Laughing

Before FUMBBL there was OLBBL and OLBBL was cutting edge but that was 9 or 10 years ago.

I would say crap was a strong term, like u said before fumbbl, OLBBL was very strong... Their Cleint is way out dated, but when it was designed, it was the best out there... One main problem unlike fumbbl, the people who built OLBBL dont support it anymore and its run by people trying their hardest to keep it running with changes, but they love 3rd edition...

I was a commisioner there and tried starting a LRB leauge but it didnt go well, but when I started playing real life NAF tournaments, I couldnt handle playing by 2 different rules so I came to Fumbbl as I plan to play in more real life tournaments...

I will say one thing, OLBBL is more socialable then most games here in fumbbl, which is probably another reason the games take so long on OLBBL...
