S7 means you can put your tree beside 3 players at ST3, and they have to commit 2 more to get a one dice block, and your tree has Stand Firm too Wink

yes, the St7 gives 3 dive blocks by itself, but block gives you more knockdowns, and therefore more SPP.

You don't want many SPPs on your treeman. It just increases your TR and makes him age and there aren't many good strength skills he doesn't already have. ST 7 is good because you can use it by just standing around and thus not risk getting SPPs.

Arrow, Skull, PowSkull is not a rare three-dice-roll, and wouldn't it be nice to smack that line-rat/orc/elf/beast instead of just pushing him away? (Or, if it has block, keep it close to you at least, and make it dodge if it wants to get away...)

Quote:
I d also add this about 3 dices blocks. 1/27 = 3,7% so really low.

However vs a standard player with block:
knock him down=5/9 at 2dices+b=55.5%
knock him down=19/27 at 3dices=70.3%

vs a blodger
2d+b=>11/36=30.5%
3d=>57.9%

vs a skillless player:
2d+b=>3/4=75%
3d=>70.3%

chances to fall alone
3d=>3.7%
2d+b=>2.7%

well then it is debatable how many 3dices blocks you will have overall. But by comparison only of 3dices vs 2dices+block, my choice is very easy:

3 DICES

I found this very usefull input. I wonder who is such a genius to calculate this. cheer for him!!!!!!

Even big guys can follow up. So the need to dodge still apply even if you choose push back.

Retire or Dauntless......... depends on the degree of "stunty-ness".

For a big guy, I'd still give him block and put him on the line of scrimage. For a regular guy, I'd take the +ST, possibly retiring the player, though.
