White Isle League recruitment thread

The league is <i>not</i> currently recruiting. However, you can still apply if you wish to join the Reserve list, which will mean that you may be contacted if one of our participating coaches drops out, and that you would be invited to join the league in a future season if and when the league expands.
<i>What to do if you want to apply:</i>
Please check that you meet any one of the basic entry criteria. This is an English-speaking, UK time zone league, so coaches wanting to join should be either:
a) British Isles residents;
b) citizens of the British Isles living abroad but within two time zones of UK/Irish time;
c) any English-speaking coach within two time zones of UK/Irish time whose own country does not have its own national league.
If you fit into any of those categories, send me a quick PM and I will add you to the Reserve list. You will be contacted subsequently if and when openings come up in the league structure.
(If you <i>don't</i> fit into any of those categories, there is very probably a national scheduled league somewhere closer to you (and one which is far more established than this one!). We are hoping to set up some kind of mutual advertising scheme with these leagues in the future, but for now, check the Groups page.) |

Oo, a clash of jurisdiction! ... Well, I need an application PM from Biggie first anyway. Does the Swedish league not suit you then? Or do you live in Sweden but not speak Swedish? |

I live in sweden but I am hungarian by origin and the swedish league is to fast to me liking but if u see a problem with that then I can sit and cry  |

Hmm, that's a team development strategy I haven't tried yet, which reminds me ...
No, I can't fool you: this is just a *bump*.
10 applicants now, so we would already have enough coaches for one 8-team conference!  Still plenty more places available though! Remember, teams will be assigned in reverse order of CR (and not till Saturday), not first-come-first-served, so you won't necessarily miss out on the chance to get a popular team if you apply later. Surprisingly, the most popular first pick so far has been Hu-mons! again |

Lest they forget that were around.
Heres a thought, given that we as English tend to suck at games with invent, does it follow that the standard of coaching in our fumbbl league will drop markedly due to the presence of other English types? |
