MEGUMI OKEBA GOT ANGRY
In the last match vs. the high elves "Hunted by Destiny", Megumi Okeba really was angry. She wanted to listen to her new Ice Cube CD before the match, but she couldn´t find it. A fan said to her, she had seen a high elf from the opponent team had stolen it. So Megumi smuggled her Knuckledusters on the pitch (from handicap) and bashed those guys... ...seriously injuried 2 of them and badly hurt another 2. Later on, Megumi remembered, that she had lend the CD to Suki Kawazaki, but it was all to late then...[/url] |

HOT GIRLS ON FIRE
The Avengers are on a incredible luck streak, after they lost vs. the Orcs from the "Butcher Boys"-Team (327/297) with a close 0-1 loss in the overtime. Since then, the girls won all their 8 matches (new record streak), often just with not more then 8 players on the pitch at the start of the match. They recovered well and have 13 players again. Especially the new Linegirl "Chifumi Sake" shows great potential (ST4, Block) and did 4 touchdowns in her first 3 matches... |

RECORD STREAK ENDED
Looked like the 9th win in a row, but in the last turn, the Necromantic team "Vorpal Vengance" could score a 2nd touchdown as 2-2 end result. With 5 players left on the pitch, the Avengers couldn´t concentrate in the end of the match (skull-reroll-arrow, double-blockskull on the only player, that could have scored (he was standing), failed dodge...), so it´s their own fault. The new (5 matches, 11 SPP) Blitzer Aya Takane was seriously injuried (n) by a ugly ST5-claw-MB werewolve in the first turn and is about to be retired. With 4 CS by the werewolves, 1 CS by the flesh golems and a lot of K.O.s, they were outbashed early in the match.
SUKI KAWAZAKI UNSTOPABLE?
You maybe now the past player Gin Haruko, who was one of the fastest Amazons on fumbbl (2times MA+). You should know famous Megumi Okeba, who is possible the strongest Amazon thrower on fumbbl (2times ST+). Now get to know our new Star Player Suki Kawazaki. This catcher did her 11th and 12th touchdown in the match vs. "Vorpal Vengance" and blood bowl experts say, that they have never seen a amazon catcher, that is more agile then her. With a expected market worth of 210.000 gold, she is one of the most expensive players of all time in the Avengers team... |

Avengers become more and more brutal...
The Avengers seem to be ready for the Fumbbl Cup Quick Start Tournament. They got only one mb-player, but they bashed their last 3 enemies (human, chaos, dark elves) away with 5, 5 and 6 causalities! (no fouls, no crowdpushes, just CS from blocks counted...). Especially Blitzer Yuki Watanabe, who became a superstar during this matches, seems to be good in form: She did 4 CS in the last match. The luck streak continues... ...since they were thrown out by the Orcs from "Butcher Boys", they have played 12 matches and won 11 of them (one tie). |

The Aggressive Asian Avengers have used one of the last chances to reach the fumbbl cup and took part in the 15th quick start qualifier. Their first opponent was the Undeads from "Clint Eastwood Roles". The AAA knew this opponent, had a 3-1 win and a 2-2 tie against them before, but was a bit scared, because those undead did 10 causalities and caused 4 deaths in those 2 matches. But on the pitch, theese undead creatures was disappointing and harmless most of the match. They couldn´t deal any damage to the girls, that bashed them away with 5 causalities and a 4-0 win. Next match was their first match vs. chaos dwarves. Handicaps were pretty good for those chaos dwarves too (Illegal drugs, knuckle dusters, it wasn´t me on best player Yuki Watanabe (only player with MB))...
It was very close, but in the end, a double one could save the AAA a 2-1 win. They probably would have lost the overtime, because it would have been 5 amazons vs. 12 chaos dwarve players... |
