OK taking looking at taking a vampire team to a tr 115 tournament can pick either 2 skills or a trait after each match. LRB4 rules
Thinking of:
3 vamps
11 thralls
5 rerolls
3 fan factor (think that adds up right)
So any opinions on the lineup and what skills I should take after each game? |

Are those the *only* skills you get, or do you get them *on top* of other skills? And how important is winning early on, compared to preserving the team? |

I get the same starting lineup every round with the addidtion of the skills I have added
Injurys etc don't carry over, so don't have to worry about being beat up.
Winning every game is important ;]
Each player can only be given one skill, star player points aren't used, standard table top tournament stuff. |

I assume that players can get more than one skill, only not more than one skill per game?
Given that:
1st game: Block on a Vampire, DP on a Thrall (since you have a decent amount of players to use).
2nd game: Dodge on that Block vampire from game 1, Block on a second vampire (Theory: That blodge vampire will be very hard to stop once he gets the ball, and will be the one you try to win games with.)
3rd game: Block on Vampire 3 (or Tackle on #2 if there are lots of blodgers), and I'd be sorely tempted to get a second DP at this point.
About the line-up: Given the peculiar style of the tournament, I'd also be very tempted to lose a RR and add two Thralls (and go down to FF2).
Something along those lines. |

Give DP to all the thralls and block to the vamps. |

I say ditch the vamp team and go dwarves.
1st skill picks = dirty player/dirty player
2nd skill picks = dirty player/dirty player
3rd skill picks = dirty player/dirty player...
the funny thing is, if you use enough longbeards you actually have the skills on the players to pull it off and be successful ^_^
but if you've got your heart set on the vamp team i'm sure you could come up with a similar skillset |

I agree with Johan's skillpicks, but contradict him on the rerolls: Since injuries don't carry over and you can't buy any more rerolls and vampires gobble rerolls like crazy due to the bloodlust, I'd go with your lineup. Normally I'd increase the rerolls to 6, but there is no easy way to do so in this case, as it would mean going down to 9 thralls. You could consider swapping 1 thrall and 1 FF for an apo, though, in order to keep a thrall on the pitch in a crucial moment. |

I'd go with
game 1 vamp - block thrall dp
game 2 vamp - guard thrall sure hands
game 3 vamp - block thrall tackle
but I don't exactly win much. |

I played twice with vampires on 110TR tournaments.
First time I used 3 vampires 10 thralls 5 rerolls 2 fanfactor
second time 4 vampires 8 thralls 4 rerolls 6 fanfactor.
The result was better on the second tournament.
Concerning the skills (we could only give one per match): 2 vampires got Block, 2 got Dodge and one thrall got Kick.
While Vampires are good in exploiting opponents misfortune with the ball, this can be enforced with a kicker.
A thrall with Sure Hands would be fine to probably save a reroll, and counter those Strip Ball players. |

loading up with thralls and fouling must help though?
why take 6ff the second time and not an extra thrall? |

It was a bit gambling for kick off events. Maybe the additional thrall would have been better. My intention was to be quite sure not to loose those kick off events. I got some additional rerolls, if my memory is correct.
Most coaches take low ff on such tournaments. |

ive found taking that little bit extra on fan compared to the low 1s and 2s you usually see at ressurrection tournaments can be very handy |
