Everybody gotta die sometimes. But I was wondering, how long a average bloodbowl player survives. This is how far my Amazons got:
Asami Tayashi (Linegirl): 6 matches
Mai Suzuki (Thrower): 6 matches
Megumi Takana (Catcher): 8 matches
Yumi Yoshimoto (Linegirl): 9 matches
Taemi Hashima (Blitzer): 21 matches
Chio Atami (Catcher): 28 matches
Shie Kitsune (Linegirl): 33 matches
Ren Kayimi (Linegirl): 35 matches
Reiko Takahara (Blitzer): 44 matches
Aki Ninjuto (Linegirl): 52 matches
Yae Takana (Blitzer): 72 matches
Nami Takeshi (Thrower): 78 matches
First past player: 6th match
Last past player: 78th match
Average: 33 matches
So, how long did your favorite team make it?

I stuck with it coz it made it to F3 after 1 season but it only had 7 players of which 4 were niggled. It has played 35 games and has 1 player left from the original roster. If you do the maths at least 4 didn't make it past 4 games. They have already lost 19 players.

0-4 Hens 70,000 6/2/3/7 Leap, Peck, Off For a Bite
0-1 Rooster 100,000 8/3/3/8 LONER, Peck, Mighty Blow, Leap
Re-rolls = 50,000
Apothecary Not allowed; Can take Farmer instead (similar to the halfling chef except only makes vegetarian or red meat dishes).

My 4 most played games team:
Chaos U, High Elf U, Elf R and nurglings S
stats:19.05 games, 0.34 losses per game, 11 deaths in 59G (but 3 players over 45games still alive)
21.46 games, 0.28 losses per game, 6deaths in 45G (6 players over 40 games alive)
15 games, 0.48 losses per game, 17 deathes in 56G (4 players over 30 games alive)
13.9 games, 0.78 losses a game, 28 deathes in 59G (2 players over 40 games alive) |

Well, I'll look at my orcs (35 games) because it's my oldest team.
Black Orc Blocker - Still doing good, 35 games old.
Black Orc Blocker - Played 5 games, aged first skill, retired.
Black Orc Blocker - Played 3 games, killed in action.
Black Orc Blocker - Played 34 games, got niggled (with a block, no modifiers), apo failed, got the MVP, got a skill because of MVP, aged an another niggle. Nuffle really hated him in the end. Oh, and he got retired.
Blitzer - Played 15 games, aged second skill.
Blitzer - Played 16 games, aged third skill.
Blitzer - Still going strong after 35 games.
Blitzer - Still going strong after 35 games.
Lineman - Played 31 games, aged third skill, retired.
Lineman - Still going strong, although 34 games (1 MNG)
Lineman - Still going strong after 35 games.
I believe that is my starting roster. And yes, I do hate aging.
Edit: Oh, and did I mention, 35 games, never been over 200 TS? I really REALLY do hate aging. |

With Microchoir (players 6-16 at the bottom) they lasted between 2 and 87 games.
The average for linemen was 20,25 games after 100 matches.

My mums rooster was eaten by a fox, they had it a few months.

That's a shame, because I just wanted to feel witty and say "Till Thanksgiving!" Oh well
I wanted to give my starting players a special name, like an added O for original, in order to keep track of who is left. Comparing the number of games of the player with the number of games of the team is an option to check this, of course, but whenever a player misses a game, his count isn't incremented. Therefore this method is a bit inaccurate.
My Tyrant Brigade has got about 7 of 11 players left from the original lineup after 41 games. |
