Having just had an inquiry in IRC about where to find a good tactics article for a certain race, it occurred to me that we should ask <b>you</b>, the GLN readership, what tactical articles you would like to see in a future issue of the GLN.

Whatever you choose, we will try to find an expert in the field to write the article for you!

(Note: Any article should only be expected to appear in Issue #9 at the earliest, not the forthcoming Issue #8.)

<b>I have now added a poll, so please vote on which of the articles listed you'd most like to see!</b> If the last option ('Other') gets a huge number of votes, I may have to restart the poll to include another option - but more likely any other popular options will be carried over for a future poll.

Something about an usual match-up, ie. how Zons beat dwarves/cd or perhaps a tactic guide against the much feared teams, khemri and ogres.

Johan: Bad idea...people shouldn't learn how to defense against my skavens...how can I ever win then? Smile

Skaven shouldn't need forward-pushing to one-turn. Wink

And I have your Amazon/Dwarf strategy right here - be a vastly superior player overall, get excellent luck, or preferably both...

While it's not strictly a strategy article, I think a lot of people would enjoy an overview of the LRB 5 changes and their effects.

We are planning something like this, in fact.


George: there will be a Human tactics article in the next GLN. How much it focuses on TR over 150, I'm not sure.

Winning with flings is not difficult unless they are playing against Norse, Dwarf, or CD.

Step 1: With the chef, buy out all the opponent's rerolls.
Step 2: Knock something down with a Tree.
Step 3: Foul it with a DP fling.

less seriously, there could be an article listing differences in strategie (real ones) about the 4 elf races.
