Everyone had assembled on the wharf, bags packed for the sea voyage across to Naggaroth. Porters were carrying equipment onto the '12 Seas' while Cap'n B came to check on his passengers. He counted up the figures at the wharf.
"20 Of you? I was told 16. Are all of you travelling?" Everyone nodded.
"Ah well. Noone tells me anything." Then, apparently as an afterthought he added "Shiver my timbers"
He showed them to there cabins while Able Seaman Plorg stowed away their luggage. The ship set out onto the high seas.
10 minutes into the voyage a piercing scream rang out. Everyone came running. Able Seaman Plorg lay dead, his lips turned blue. Cap'n B knelt down and smelt the body.
"Dark Elf Poison. Looks like you guys have a problem. Reckon I know who the extra four are." He thought for a moment.
"I'll tell you what. I don't know anything about finding assassins, just running a ship. You guys are gonna have to do it alone. But you come to me, every day, you let me know who each of you thinks is trouble. Whoever most of you reckon, I'll dump over into the sea or something. I'm not gonna get killed - they must know they need me and the crew to run the ship, so it's only you lot in trouble. How's that sound?"[/i] |

OK. And just a reminder that kill time will be at 18:00 bbtime not 19:00 as previous games have been (I leave work at about 18:15 bbtime so can't guarentee being around for 19:00 so Im afraid you all have to dance to my schedule) |

Woot! I'm a villager (the PM told me that, I know there are no villagers on the ship).
Ok, now that I'm not evil I will tell you how we kill the master assassine (he will be dead on day 4).
First the wizard steps forward today. Since there are two players to protect him it's pretty safe in this game.
Apothecary protects him tonight, defensive coach protects someone else.
We design 2 players (victims) for todays voting: player A and player B.
Player A votes against player B along with two people and player B votes against player A along with two people.
If player A (works with B too) dies it means the master assassine is between the voters against player B. Since there are only two left of them (player A is dead) the wizard can scan one of those. If he scans an innocent the other one is the master assassine. If he scans an assassine it's fine too (obviously).
If noone dies the master assassine is between the remaining 14 players. One of those players dies in the night so there are only 13 candidates left.
We repeat this idea on day 2 voting.
Someone dies, we get an assassine on day 3. Noone dies, there are only 7 (6 after nightly killing) candidates left for day 3's voting.
We repeat the idea on day 3 and since there are only 6 candidates left we get an assassine for day 4's voting.
Conclusion: we either get up to 3 draws before killing an evil player (good) or we can kill an evil player after we killed an innocent immeadiately.

Oh, and if there is no dead in the night or someone from the group of already cleared (at least from being master assassine) dies there could be up to 2 players who have not voted after day 3. But this poses no problem since they are only suspects of being the master assassine if there were only draw on day 1,2 and 3. In this case the wizard scans one of those and we still get an assassine on day 4. |
