A good question. I actually meant a permanent injury and not specifically a characteristic drop... but how where you to know  . The right term is now permanent injury. (hope your score will go up kingdom, you derserve some points for all your fine matches). |

here is my opinion to the question if we move to [U],[L] or [R]
First off, I'm against moving to [R] for two reasons:
1. It's just not possible to move the existing teams there.
2. IMHO Games tend to be harder at higher TR/TS in [R] --> more norse teams forced into retirement (that's entirely subjective)
I suggest we move all teams to [U], as long as the KO-Cup of the top 8 hasn't started.
1. As far as I get it [L] is supposed to become a tourney-only Division and [U] for single-matches
2. Movement between [U] & [L] ist possible at any time, so nothing lost there
3. We increase the popularity of [U]
4. As soon as the KO-Cup starts, only the participating Teams are moved to [L], clearly marking them as involved in the tourney
5. All teams not in the Cup can happily bash away in [U] |

I think your reasoning is good and I agree. We must, however, hope for that the amount of casual plays in the new (U) are high enough for the us to have a reasonable number of games.
I would, however like to hear a few other opinions on this matter. Mayhaps we need to look at a hole new set of rules, structure and/or league-style... |

Noted... Just had a little talk with christer in the admin channel and got a lot more enlighted on the matter of divs
League forming is NOT possible in (U)... this means the KO tournament WILL NOT BE playable for (U) teams in the group, as this would be a violation of the rules! (if I'm wrong please do notify me =/)
Possibilities:
1. Either we stay as (L) teams, by which we must deal with the fact that we wont get many games. A grim prospect as we need those casual games... but compared to having to alter the the guild entirely or shut it down, this is, in my opinion the "best" solution.
2. We end season 1 now... find out who is in the KO tournament...Start it in a few days time, hoping for a quick resolve and then start a new season with an alternate league format and scoring system...
3. We put the season on hold till Christer has found out how meta grouping in the new (U) is worked out, and we get the approval to do this by then...
4. We create a (R) meta group. This means however that we wont be able to use our "old" guild teams in a final KO tournament nore being able to play any kind of tourney.
5. Guild Bifrost desolves... |
