As many of you probably noticed, FUMBBL was inaccessible for a while this morning. All the FUMBBL servers are fine and have been running flawlessly during this, and my investigation seemed to imply an issue with DNS servers.

I've been having some issues with DNS in the past, and have now switched name servers from Zoneedit to Amazon, and am also in the process of transferring the domain registry to Amazon as well (the latter may take a few days).

The reason I'm doing this transfer isn't only because of this incident. We've had some trouble with Zoneedit in the past and my hope is that switching to a reputable host for domain and name servers will improve stability. Amazon certainly has a smoother configuration system for domains and DNS records, so that part will certainly become better.

The domain registrar switch may cause some minor teething issues, but I hope it won't be too bad.
