I received word today, through his parents, that "C.T." Cusi died last week.

He was not just a member of this community, but part of its foundation. He also was one of the closest friends I ever had, and I wouldn't be the person I am today, without him.

Wherever you are now save us a few seats by the bloodbowl table, stock that fridge full of beer and we'll all be along to see you eventually.

It must have taken him 2-3 hours to get me to understand the Client and the Chat and getting me through my first game. What a guy!!! Thanx Cusi....Thanx for everything!!!

What a loss! Cusi was the person I chatted with the most on fumbbl. Through many chats on a wide range of topics, I came to know a fun-loving, smart, and most importantly a caring man. He helped make fumbbl a community. Whether it was helping out newbies, lightening the mood, hashing out ideas, editing the Grotty Little Newspaper, or just being Cusi, he made fumbbl a better place. He will be missed.

I remember last fall, I was getting fed up with another league and the lack of play there. A friend in that league suggested I try Fumbbl.
I came, I saw, I loved it!!!!!
I was having a hard time figuring things out though at first.
Mr-Klipp was trying to help me best he could, but I still had yet to play my first game.
Then this really nice guy named Cusi offered to play me and help out.
He taught me how to play this game he loved so much. I now love it as well.

He will be very much missed...
I can't stop crying.

I”ll miss cusi.
I’ll mis’m cause he was a great guy.

A fellow brother, Someone to bitch about the ‘tude of La women. Knew the finer points of a rum and coke. And kept Mnemon in line with his halibut.

Months ago, Christer announced that Cusi had the most friends on his buddy list. And he was always here. Making buddies, talking up the chat room, having a good time, and by association bringing others his mood of friendship, and fun times.

Why I’ve been on fumbbl a long time now, my buddy list is short, and people I look forward to seeing on line are also on a short list. But Cusi, a worthy friend, is someone I’ll always be looking for seeing online now.

Arrr. To be less than articulate, I’ll miss you Cusi.

Terrible news. Was he ill, or was this an 'unexpected' death (which is worse).

I haven't played him for a while, ever since I fouled the crap out of his chaos team with my undead a while back. Chances are when I get to the hot place he will be waiting to have his revenge on me.

It's strange how such an anonymous medium cuts straight to the center of things. I mean, most of us on FUMBBL have never seen each other, and even less met. I didn't know Cusi apart from reading his comments in the various fora and on the chat, but I got the feeling that he was a really cool guy. Which all the comments seem to confirm...

So, even not having known him, I'm shaken. And to see the response from all those who were his friends here is wonderful and deeply, deeply sad at the same time. To Mnemon - I envy you to have had a friend close to you that was obviously so easily liked and even loved. My deepest condolences.

Remember that our actions towards each other mean something, and maybe they are all that mean anything.
