Bye bye to a Slayer
On route to be my first legend Bowser Jr. decided to retire. He couldn't stomach a coach willing to concede a game for his childs puke fest. Well valiant slayer if you can't deal with unscheduled problems ...We don't need you. You were a great teammate. But you are replacable.

You should have agreed with your opponent to complete at a later time, RL issues allow for games to be played in this manner. A shame you had to lose a good player for that.

Probably not the ideal time to be negotiating playing times ;) I'd have been OK with the coach just poofing off suddenly and PM'ing me later about it though.

Sure, the rules allow for completion later but I guess it's about people in emergencies feeling like it's the proper thing to do rather than make someone wait (though I totally agree they're not obligated in any shape or form to concede because of that). I personally have actually suggested to an opponent (who strangely enough also had a child in similar circumstances) to come back tomorrow due to emergency when he offered to concede, though I'm sure there are coaches that will lap up the concession as soon as it's mentioned in such a situation. We finished our game the next day, and I still lost ;)
