Hi guys,

I just returned from my latest trip and I managed to spend a good length of time with the DS version of Blood Bowl (delayed for 9 hours on the way back - grrr)!

So I thought I would update my initial thoughts on the game.

I am playing a championship and have played my way through 2 seasons and now on the 3rd. Im in the top flight division and thus far have not lost a single match. Anyone who knows me will understand that this is pretty unlikely! :P

So, is it fun? - Yes it is and it is entertaining so we will get that out of the way, but, and its a biggie... It would seen to be geared much more towards novice players.

What is good - The excitement is retained its excellent to have BB on the move

What is bad - The AI that seemed ok in the beginning is actually pretty flawed. They do work to protect the ball with cages but there have been a number of times where I have confounded the AI and they have basically given away their turn without taking any actions.

The isometric view point is actually quite difficult specially if you are playing as a small team or if your oppo has a number of Big Guys. In a number of matches I have missed players who are hidden behind others and its caused turnovers due to failed unforced dodges etc.

No Undead... we knew this for a long time before the game came out but even so the decision still annoys me.

Is it worth getting - I think so, it is entertaining and it certainly fills some time on flights etc. If there are two of you multi player is possible... I think even on one DS but wi-fi is in there too. So the AI issues would be removed.
