Just remember, at some point it stops being whining and starts being poor gamesmanship.

Can't you just whine to yourself?

I like the little poem at the end, it was a nice touch. It sounds like Puck's speech at the end of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" by Shakespeare.

yeah, i'm not much for whining too... really detracts from my enjoyment of the game even when I'm winning. I prefer people to be humorous about their bad dice. It happens to all of us, believe it or not.

If one whines from bad luck I think it is sort of alright (several snakeeyes or doubleskulls), but there is a fine line when it comes from being a sucky player...

We all have bad luck. We all have have god luck. Games are decided by dice. Whining during the game about it to your opponent is poor form. I feel that you are telling the other coach that the only reason they won is the dice not their skill. If you want to whine about the game then whine to your partner, dog, cat, painted miniatures or a friend. The other coach doesn't know you and will likely just think you are a poor loser and, considering this is likely our only form of contact with you, a shabby person. Why try and spoil your opponents fun? In saying this there are times I have whined I am sure, but if I did, it was poor form on my part.
