Not blog worthy. We have forums for this.
IIRC Larson was the name of the original player to achieve the feat on FUMBBL. Citation required yadda yadda.

Surely more blog worthy than opening a forum post? blogs afterall can be deleted once the info has been attained ;)

Iirc, Larson wasn't the first, that was some guy called Thunder... something. Larson was just the one that caught on.

Ah, Larson himself has it in his bio. It was a player called Thundercall. And according to https://fumbbl.com/help:Larson+Hall+of+Fame Larson was the 5th player to complete the feat.

You can search a forum blocknroll; a technique that surely would have yielded the answer to this question.
That's why you ask questions in forums. It's an informal knowledge base.

Settle down, Complainsaw!... blogs are for whatevs. You can rate it a 1, but saying something isn't "blog worthy" is more condescending than lizvis and PC combined...
(love you both, guys ;)

I have just done a forum search for Larson and I am no nearer knowing the origin.
This blog produced the answer within three posts.

this comment is not comment worthy.

That's because you're a muppet @blocknroll.
Search larson. One of the more obvious results: The Larson Hall of Fame
Said thread's FIRST POST contains the exact origin. However, unless you need your hand holding and can only search for things by looking for the precise question itself, then there's little I can do for you.

Well see this could have been a whole lot easier if you had posted that link for the OP in post one rather than giving him some yadda yadda don't you think? ;)

The irony of Complainsaw's complaint making the worthless blog into an entertaining one...

Just for the sake of completeness: you don't even need to do a forum search. Go to Help, then FUMBBL Community, then Recordopedia Spluttanica. That page has a link to the Hall of Fame which shows that Larson was the 5th Larsonist, and a footnote that links to the page explaining what a Larson is.

Thanks all for giving me something to read at work during this east coast snowmageddon. I won't start into the fact that my company doesn't value the lives of its employees... Oh, too late. :)

Didn't know why a Larson was called a Larson before this blog
Now I do
Mental note made of 'complainsaw'

Complaintroll! Although your complaints seem a bit intentional.
Posted by Overhamsteren on 2014-02-13 17:22:27
So is the reason for it being called a Larson that the coaches of the first 4 players didn't tell anyone about their accomplishments?
Posted by Chainsaw on 2014-02-13 17:26:31
Indeed somehow the other names never caught on.
"He made a Thundercall!"
"What a horn!"
"And another Lance Corporal Wolf for the record books..."

Good choice to blog it! We don't need to fill up forums with short questions. Blog goes on your own profile. Boo to Chainsaw.
