“The Finals match for possession of the coveted Orcland Wooden Shield, pitted the high-scoring lineorcs of Hooz Laffin at Uz? vs. the hard hitting northmen of Odense Bulldogs.
The first half saw the Norse thrower fail to pick up the ball twice! The slow moving orcs were not able to capitalize on this failure however, but they jockeyed for position to defend the inevitable push downfield. Still it took the team wizard to defend what would have been an easy score.
The second half showed that the orcs wanted the win a bit more, as they threw the games first foul to remove the Minotaur (mad Dino) from the pitch for the match. A turn or two later saw the Norse reduced to about 7 players, so the orcs were able to score fairly easy despite the Bulldogs Wizard throwing around some "Ice magic". The depleted Norse were then able to make a go of scoring in 3 turns, but in the end it was not meant to be.
It was a hard fought match, gg Prawn. We shall meet again!

The orcs was too tough for the wikings, the sneaky greenies used a moments unawareness(the coach had to go where others can't follow) to injure our Mino. From then on, they could just hack and slash their way through the wiking defense and score the winning goal in round 6 in second half...
So, no loot for the wikings this time, but we will be back !
Yes, good game indeed, Da_Todfatha, I am looking forward for that revenge. In the meantime, I will join my wikings drinking some of that recovery-ale...
