“First off, having the tree niggle out was a great boon, as my LOS was stronger than my opponent's every single kickoff. Second, Romulus made a risky play by passing to the wardancer waiting in the endzone (sans sidestep), which was intercepted by my catcher. The following crowdpush nailed that wardancer with a MNG, which further shifted the balance of power to my favor.
Imagine my glee when I not only got the ref in T6, but also knocked down his remaining wardancer. Sadly, the force wasn't strong in us and that dancer got away with a KO, which was quickly recovered.
Second half saw some truly bad dice, with his wardancer returning to KO on a failed dodge, and doubleskulling on the next turn, sealing the win. With that achieved, I was more interested in blocking stuff than defending, and Romulus scored the 3-1 - which I hope nets him something nice.
Thanks, Romulus and (as I've already said) better luck next time. :)”
