“One of my longest games in the SWL so far, but was a good one and very enjoyable. A bit tit-for-tat, they score one - we score one. Both teams played true to form. The Norse ran the ball through the widezones where the Elves feared to tred ... afraid of that Frenzy push into the crowd. And thats where all three Chin Chen TD's came from, while the Stingers stuck to classic Elf play - leaping, dodging and long bombs. Despite the bright sunlight Riverwynde threw 3 long passes and a short one for 4 completions off 5 attempts.
Game could have gone either way with one or two different dice rolls. The Norse gang fouls didn't work as expected and neither did the Stinger leap/blitz into the cage.

3pts - Andrew Quick, rushed well and hung onto the ball when he had to and shrugging off the blitz for 2 TD's.

2pts - Kristian Gatfield, did everything a blitzer should do, blocked well (but didn't get an Elven scalp as a reward) and set up the final TD to equalize.

1pts - Nahan Richardson, put good use on Sure Feet and Side Step. Was always a worry as I couldn't blitz him off the field. ”
