“Well only a small pasting... went 0-1 down fairly quickly... but any chance of a come back were put to bed with a Blitz! against me, that ended the 1st half 0-2 down and a few players out!...
2nd half was meant to be a breeze for the CD's but I made them work for it, grabbing one back to make it 1-2.... but there wasn't really much chance of 2-2... it was just a case of trying to give a good defence... in the end the CD's were just too much for me...
Handicaps were Virus (no niggles - Bah!), Greatest (on both Centaurs - yay!), and it wasn't me on a dwarf (I'll take that!)... Oh and it was a blizzard for the 1st half! :-p

They always cause the Diamonds problems. Seems they hit harder than any other team. First half was straight ahead and the blitz (with a kicker and one sided offensive setup) decided the match. Start of second half saw the Diamonds make some really ineffective blocking which allowed the Grudgebringers to score much too easy. Some failed GFI's didn't exactly help either. On the next drive the Norse managed to send a few of the Diamonds of the field and had the numerical advantage at a point and even managed to knock loose the ball from the SPP hungry dwarven blocker who had the ball. The scatter landed the ball in the arms or a norseman, but being next to Black Diamond with the ball isn't exactly the best position..... So the ball was soon back where is belonged and the final TD scored.
A special honour was bestowed on the blitzer Judge Death, who has now entered the Grudge List of the Red Diamonds. May he suffer a horrible fate!
Thanks for the game to Wotfudboy who played a very good defence but the Diamonds were just more skilled in the end. A very entertaining game!
