A very cruddy match with lots of bad luck for both coaches, but far worse for the Guardians who got a MA10 AG5 Catcher killed and another Catcher niggled.

The Guardians started in offence, lost their apoth on the first hit by the Doors (-MA on a Wardancer) then failed a 3+ with reroll TD pass. The ball ends up near the line of scrimmage where the doors pick it up and score an easy TD.

After that the Doors get two Blitzes and score on both. The Guardians did recover the ball on both blitzes, but on the first one, they were too disadvantaged to keep the ball, and on the second, their 3+ (with pass RR) attempt was fumbled.

The Doors took two casualties in the game, a failed GFI and a failed dodge each causing a BH. The Guardians lost two catchers for the second game in a row.

It was a really crud match. The two Blitzs I suffered put me at a great disadvantage though a Perfect Defence helped me claw back one TD.

However, it was the casualties that really hurt. The dice were bad for my opponent too at times (eg one turn he started with a snake-eyes dodge and it was turn over straight away) but they were tragic for me heh.

Ah well.”
