“I really wasn't looking forward to this game, feeling I would be on the receiving end of some nasty hits. Wallace luckily for me tried to cage up the sideline, allowing me to tram him near the edge. I also luckily BH'd his nasty MB Slayer. Still, I didn't cover his men enough, and a clever change of direction allowed him to slip past for a score. A niggle on my Catcher due to a failed RR GFI hurt, but I decided not to Apoth as I 'guessed' I'd be facing tonnes of bigger Cas later. Wrong guess....
I didn't quite manage to equalise in the first half, Wallace 1die blitzing me and keeping it 1-0 at half time. 2nd Half, and I managed to slip over the line with my luck percentage rising. I caused some cas which aided in the numbers department, and my Ogre managed to keep a few dwarves busy. 1-1, with about 4 turns left.
This is where poor Wallace plunged in the luck department. Some snake eye blocks, a failed ball pickup and the 2nd Thrown Rock allowed me to get into a possition to attempt and grab the ball. It was chaos around the ball for a few turns, with neither side giving much leeway.
Then, at turn 7, I decided to go for it. A humble norse Lineman managed to grab the ball and dodge out of the stunned Dwarvern tackle-zones, and then failed his 2nd GFI! But, turn 8 Wallace failed a GFI of his own to protect the ball, and Fistien Stovisken managed to pick himself up, snatch the ball and score the winning touchdown.
All in all a tense, if long game, probably my fault. Thanks to Wallace, who stayed calm despite some nasty luck.

#3 - Pegleg Pete - Nasty little AG4 runner, always wary of what he could do.
#2 - Dread Captn Jim - for scoring and causing me no end of grief in the blitz and guard departments.
#1 - Van Hoek - for causing endless Jitters when he blitzed and keeping me from the sidelines.
