#13 Zenkon – Dead (RIP)
“Girls in green are really mean. Thats the lesson of the day over at camp Adept. Some beaten and bruised but luckily not defeated Dwarfs, Hobgoblins and Bulls licked theri wounds and nodded in acknowledgment of the girls bruising effort.
The game went somthing like this....
Some Adpets fell down.. The girsl looked good, Some girls Fell down, the Adepts looked good... A cocky bull pranced before the goaline and was zapped by a dirty wizrd, halftime 0-0.
Second half... Some crappy blocks by the Adepts... The girls pounce... More crappy blocks on both sides of the ball... suddenly a ball embdded on a horn somewhere downfield and the Adepts lead 1-0... Heat and exhaustion take its toll...The girls stroll in to tie the game.... Nuff Said.
Indeed was a match worth of the premier for its hard fought effort and closeness, if not its skill. GG Laviak!

2pts: Loony Tossa - Ran Hard and socred the equaliser for the girls in green
1pt: Face Masha - Blocked hard and big on the inside, unrewarded job, great effort!”

Just as we suspected - these dwarves are nothing to be afraid of when you have a team of orcs!!! They are tougher to beat up than those pansy elves and the likes; you just have to hit them a few more times. Death to the dwarflings!!!
I never thought I'd say this, but I am very grateful for the services of the team's wonderful shaman, who proved that he can do more than the occasional trick with a rabbit. Either that, or Zara the Prayer made good on her offer of divine intervention with a lightning bolt that stopped the score from reaching 0-1 in the first half.
The Adepts played a real good defence in the first half - a couple of timely armour breaks put the girls down on numbers, and there was little they could do to break through the wall of dwarves. We came kinda close ... but it never looked like we were really going to make it. Lung-t'an played his role very well, pulling the ball out of a tight spot near the sidelines, and getting it downfield to Mitra Concentration ... who obviously wasn't concentrating well enough (not after he was struck by lightning anyway), and failed to put in the effort required to score a touchdown.
The second half turned things around completely. Some timely double skulls (accidental 1d block, and one with the troll) gave the girls a good chance of turning things around, and making the score 1-0 - we also started pulling out the big guns, making a mess of the dwarves. The girls don't like it when you hurt their team-mates! A fine play saw the ball sail down the field into the waiting horns of Mitra Concentration, who was determined to make up for his mistake in the first half.
The heat got to the adepts, and on the final drive, there was not a real lot they could do to stop the touchdown that brought the scores even in turn eight.
Real close match, and I'm almost looking forward to a rematch! :-)

Played his role perfectly all match. Kept out of harms way, then dived in to grab the ball when there was a chance. Also made a couple of real good passes, and when trouble came in while he was carrying the ball, he stood up to Zara the Prayer, sending her straight into the BH box. What a game for the star hobgoblin.

Even with the mistake in the first half, this guy did a great job, harassing the back-field while we tried to look after the ball, and taking the catch when the Adepts desperately needed a TD in the second half. Definitely one to watch out for.

Well, there weren't any other real stand-outs - all of them did their jobs reasonably well, but this little bugger just kept getting in the way. Every time I wanted to hit someone, or dodge away, there he was standing right in the way. Keep an eye on this guy, given the time to develop, he's going to be one hell of a blocker.”
