“These skaven are a matchup the skinks generally find problematical. The pace to keep up with the skinks combined with plenty of tackle, an unbelievable thrower, and multiple targets up front for him to send the ball to. The skinks did think they may have done enough to secure a draw going up 2-1 late in the second half but as in the first half they weren't able to delay the touchdown enough and the vermin got the exact kickoff rolls they needed. A quick snap made the one turn touchdown a simple matter then a blitz on the following restart had them straight back in possession with two turns to score which was duly accomplished. A very frustrating end to a hard fought match but more teams than the skinks will find these damned rats a handful during the season.

2 Points: #4 Carl Jung. His hitting skills were on show as much as his running, causing headaches on offence and defence.

1 Point: #5 Manfred von Richthofen. Just by being there Manfred dictates play, a thrower who can cover virtually the entire pitch with his movement and passing ability.”
