Booked as an even match to allow a pair of injured players to recover, but things turned sour immediately when leading scorer Glassjaw Gary claimed his leg was hurting just a bit too much to play, and Kamikaze Ken simply failed to show up for the match. Still, with exactly enough players, Eleventeen strode onto the field for the match.

The Misty Mountain Boys wasted little time, quickly gathering the ball and pounding through for an early score. Just as the kick was about to restart play, a massive riot over in the Ogre Section (yet again) caused a longish delay, and the referee simply blew his whistle to end the half.

With the only available thrower Samson face down on the bench, Edgar 'Bulldog' Davids stepped into the role of ball handler. His debut was not auspicious, and a badly chucked ball landed at the feet of the onrushing crowd of defenders, who swept Edgar and the ball into the end zone, spiking both in celebration.

Eleventeen did get in a couple shots - Kitzi scored her first casualty by stomping on Jake Grove's hand in the scrum at the line of scrimmage. Fingers Freddy again tried to cover for Gary, and did a better job this time, with only one fumble and a touchdown on the day.

Overpowered at the end, Eleventeen conceded a third goal, leaving the final scoreline 3-1. A hard fought match, and we are better prepared for the next game. The fans are getting restless... Performance on the field must improve. They demand violence or touchdowns, and soon!
