The first half was all Kickers for the first 5 turns (luck running at about 19-77) at that point. Not surprisingly, the Kickers went 1-0 up, KOing one of my mummies in the process.

Given 4 turns to reply, we gave the touchback (bad kick) to our one remaining mummy, and set off: MUMMY DRIVE!!!

After much hilarity, The Left Hand of God II (TM) had to blitz a ghoul, and GFI twice with no RRs remaining to score in turn 8: and, somewhat amazingly, he did.

The second half saw the luck turn the way of Sticks&Stones, with their slow grinding undead drive keeping the ball safe and the game of attrition was on. We managed to tie up one of the Kicker's mummies on the far side of the field, and slowly got the Kickers off the field. Gooly ran in the winning TD in turn 16: unfortunately this was to be his last act for the team, as he aged (niggle) on his skill roll, and the S&S head coach saw this as an apt time to retire both Gooly and Dargol (both with an aged niggle) and drop the TR by 35 in the process. We now plan to train up our two rookie ghouls and then buy two more to keep the ghoul train running. We also sacked Dorbst, because what use is a 2ST orc-zombie?
