“The end of the season that wasn't for the Vanguard. We're not sure if this was more devestating than the game against the skinks or not. Not much went aright. Even the fireball went astray. The events following a Vanguard misclick at the end summed it up - Romantika missed the 4+ reroll from the misclick, then without rerolls the raiders played the ball flawlessly for the turn to get the ball, the Vanguard promptly snake eyed on their first dodge action, leaving the raiders to make 2 gfi's, a blitzer pass and a bob catch to run in the winning try to avoid relegation.

So, a frustrating season and an embarrassing relegation with a full team - we can deal. The only thing that really burns is giving Sandune a free ticket into prem on a misclick - he's the last coach in the league that needs or that we would have chosen for a charity. Hopefully that fire will smoulder long enough to fuel the lads into next season where they will have to look back on this and work out what they had done with their ball game.

Another bob that humiliated the elves. While we dropped the ball all over the park, the bobs didn't make a mistake. This lad caught the ball cleanly mid second half. Hard to choose between him and Surc Gougedeye - the thrower that failed the pass first half only to have it scatter and end up in the hands of his original target.”
