“Handicap of "It wasn't me" took out one of the trees.

1st Half:

Dwarves received and the runner took refuge behind a screen. A lone 'fling manages to dodge free for a blitz (push chosen). Then Pindo manages to dodge into a 1-die and free the ball which bounces into an area full of dwarves. Runner gets it back but falls on a gfi. A 'fling grabs the ball and tries to throw a long pass towards an open man at the halfline, but fumbles and then fumbles the reroll (needed 4+). Fumbler gets blitzed away and the runner picks up the ball and again fail a gfi trying to score. Free 'fling fails a gfi onto the ball and leaves it open for the dwarves to scoop and finally score. 0-1.

Next kickoff, 'flings again fumble a pass. A dwarven blitzer ko's a 'fling, picks up the ball in a TZ, makes a dodge through a TZ, and then dodges into the clear! Crazy sweetness. 'flings blitz the ball free, scoop and handoff only to see the tree drop the TTM pass. End of half.

2nd half:

'flings receive and attempt to set up a hail-mary play. A 'fling is TTM'd toward the dwarven endzone and a lone runner gives chase. After an double-skull blitz that is not rerolled by the dwarves, the ball is handed to the passer who chucks it within reach of our "receiver." But the runner gets the needed pow on the 2-die block and dwarves soon recover and put together another score. 0-2.

Was a fun game. 'flings had some good opportunities in this match but just couldn't quite pull off enough spectacular plays.

Also, the fans were cheering for the dwarves...what's up with that? :)”
