“Entering the GLT qualifier without a decent tackler was probably a bit optimistic - even though I had a few blitzes on the ball carrier, I never could knock down a wolf on a blitz and the fact two rats were leaving the pitch every turn it was a fast ousting from the tourney. :)

Entering the Qualifiers our heroes didnt think they would end verry high. Probably being knocked out on first game because of some khemrians or evil dworves.
After assiging the master waited till his challenger would pop up. Suddenly the master smelled the aroma of Gin-Tonic, a rodent with a light hangover stumbled to our heroes and said : "Its on."
Not nowing what they liked best... skavens being the first challenge ? or the sweet intoxicating smell of alcohol we started the game.
Our heroes received the ball, and started the slaugther... Bad luck and bad casualtie rolls got to the rodents quick. There wasnt much they could do then let our wolves rush for the TD.
Fouling / blocking / eating rat brains, our zombies ripped like they never ripped before.
In the first half, a rat got to one of our favourite flesh gollems. Opening a slot for new material in our next games.
In the second half (skavens received) we didnt care much for the ball, we just knocked liked hell and it paied off. After the quick skaven score they were outnumbered almost 2/1 (slight overacting).
Nothing to do then score. We butchered a little bit more, but as gentleman we didnt foul when it wasnt nescesary.
End score 2-1
The master payed his regrets to the rat coach... He was unlucky and told him he buy him drink a gin tonic with him next time they meet.
