“In our last match Inquisitor ended with an amazing 16th turn tie TD, aided by Nuffle in a way that left my jaw hitting the floor. It was now picked up, polished and replaced in time for the rematch.
My opponent speaks with the confidence of someone who knows he has the favor of Nuffle, and even in this match things started out looking grim. The first action of the match was a RIP caused by a poisoned dagger (thankfully the apo worked) and in turn 2 I managed to double fail a GFI just by my end zone, leaving him with an easy TD.
Then things turned around. Murda! Murda! had great luck throughout the rest of the match, scoring well on both casualties and other rolls. For example I managed to argue the call when caught fouling.
The Super Team got super bashed and despite heroic efforts their numbers soon dwindled to the point where they were surrounded by gobbos and beaten.
Some key players of the match:
Rik da Rocketman. My str 3 pogo stick scorer had a fantastic match, scoring all 3 TD's and also a casualty. He also took home the MVP and got a sweet 14 pack of SPP's from this game.
Lurk da Assassin. Should have RIP'ed in turn 1 if not for the apo. Instead he survived and scored both a niggle on the one that RIP'ed him (also saved by apo) and later fouled Super One to death.
Duk Dynamite. The mad bomber didn't do anything obviously spectacular, but he landed some good bombs and took out Super Teams agi 4 skink with one of the dynamites.
Thanks for the match, Inquisitor. I was impressed by how you managed to put things in my way even when you were down to 3 players :) A great effort!”
