Well, a hard fought draw, Nuffle struck early to nearly give the zons the lead, if it wasn't for a last minute mind change on Nuffle's part to see the zon trip and fall at the last possible moment. I managed to score early in the second half, but the ladies quickly equalized. The Nuffle decided to ignore both teams for the last few turns, preventing either of us from scoring the winner.

Twahnlows:

3 Votes: Back Breaka. Bloody St4 zon... I dunno....

2 Votes: Face Maula: Very annoying woman.

1 Vote: Head Stompa: god I hate a blodger with SF, so very, very annoying..

SWL Season XVII - Southside Stone Smashers Conference League - Round 4

What can I say, that damn thrower did her best to lose the game for me. After a rough start for the elves, we were able to steal the ball, and cage it up the field, and were set to score at the end of the first half. That is ... right up until "Da Flinga" decided to dive to the ground instead of scoring (obviously some sort of bribe was involved - there wasn't even anyone nearby to provide her with an excuse).

After that dismal effort, she then decided to dive to the ground early in the second half giving the elves some free shots at the ball. Needless to say, elves being elves, they had no trouble taking advantage of her "slip up" (I still want to know what the bribe was), taking an easy touchdown in turn 3.

Seeing that time was running out, the amazons made good use of a poor kick, giving the ball to Face Maula, who ran in a touchdown in a record two turns! (pretty quick for orks). This gave both teams a shot at a touchdown, but neither managed to pull off the required rolls to make it happen, so the game ended 1-1.

------------------- Twahnlow Votes -------------------

3 pts - #12 Havan Yelithe
Made the key blitz on the ball carrier, freeing the ball for Emilio to pass out of harm's way. Also, with block mighty blow, and who knows what kinds of pills, this guy was a menace to be sure.

2 pts - #2 Hammas Sooka
Hammas was the second blitzer, and played a very important part in making spaces for elves to move through ... he always seemed to find his way next to the ball carrier. Quite a pest indeed.

1 pt - #1 Emilio Escomar
Emilio is the key to the elves offensive strategy - get him the ball as quick as possible, then find a free player to throw it to. He did manage to get the ball to Jiminda Ghaas for the second half touchdown, but let the team down in the final turns of the game.
