Turniermumien started luckily getting the ref at the kick off (kicking) and having no niggled players out.
In the first 3 turns, the Wood Elfs managed somehow to knock out and hurt (recovered) 5 players.
That pressed Khemri to forget about defence and bash for a better 2nd half. It worked quite well by injuring 5 players.
With 0:1 behind, the Wizard as sword of Damocles and still a full roster of Elves, the odds to win sunk dramatically in the 1st turn of the second half.
We could only hope for a drunken Wizard and an unlucky Blitz, which could follow after its usage.
Nothing of this happened and so the Elfs had no problem to get the ball (Wizard knocked down 3 of 3 players including the ball carrier) and carry it into safety.
0:2 and still 11 players of Ultimate Superheroes alive.
The game was actually over.
Turniermumien's Mummies killed 2 players in the 4th turn, but our Thro-Ra couldn't pick up the ball. The tactics of us were all or nothing and so the Wood Elfs had no problems to put 3 players to him, blitz him and get the ball a 3rd time.
Our focus was lost, we threw some blocks and awaited the end.
Without such a successful Wizard, the outcome would have been unclear.
Wizard + AG5/6 vs. AG 1/2 is a match winner.

Wow! What a game!
Things started off well for both coaches as 8 out of 8 niggle rolls were made. Then the Khemri chuckled as they Got The Ref at the very first kik off!
The Superheroes decided that elf-stalling was the choice play book and set about hitting and fouling the khermi to limit damage. They got the Khemri down to 6 players but all KOs and regenerated CAS. Then the six khemri started fighting back. a RIP on Mimic (WD) followed by apo fail began the process, and then a clutch of snake eyes made things tough for the Wood Elves. The first half ended with the woodies up 1-0 but without either WD, neither DP and no Treeman but still 11 players!
2nd half begins.... and very quickly the woodies feel the power of the Khemri offensive. Two more ripped players in the first turn, including Captain America - the hero of so many previous FC wins. Undaunted, the Superheroes rushed forward to swamp the Khemri half with players. The Turniermummien thro-ra managed to pick up the ball, but the Khemri cage was no match for the Superheroes wizard! A psychic shock from Professor X knocked down the ball carrier, Ramtut and a skelly to pave the way for a DR Strange pick up and pass to Mr Fantastic who scored his second TD of the game.
Khemri needed to make 2 TDs and rushed forward at the next kick off. But disaster struck as the thro-ra failed his pick up! The Superheroes took full advantage of this swooping in to make it a hat-trick for Mr Fantastic and game over for the Khemri.
Khemri were desperate to score a consolation TD but were shut out by 3 surviving heros - the brave last stand.
It was a gargantuan classic for the Ultimate Superheroes. Taking massive casualties including sacrificing three heroes to close down the evil undead menace. A few lone heroes holding out against overwhelming force to achieve victory at any price.
The price? 280/287 -> 230/160. A big hit for the team but worth it for the glory. Now to give the potion to Dr Strange? Or wait for Mr Fantastic to achieve legend status?
