“With the Minions already being granted a forfeit, as their last opponents failed to even show up (one can only assume that this was due to fear!), the stunts spent their preparation time for this match saying goodbye to their families and friends.

They were hopeful that the addition of the Deathroller to their numbers would help to even things out for this match. The stunts started by kicking to the minions and as expected their first move was "bash and foul". Thankfully no real damage was taken and the stunts set about trying to return the favour. "Eraser" stepped up and charged at the nearest Claw Rotter, trying to push him into the path of the waiting deathroller. Sadly the Rotter saw "Eraser"'s flanking move and was waiting. Turning to face him the Rotter said "boo" and "Eraser" was so shocked that he just stood their (failed FA roll and pro). Shortly after this the carnage began and soon the shocked "Eraser" and several others were receiving treatment off the pitch for minor cuts and bruises.

The slow grind continued for most of the first half, but near to half time the Stunts seized their opportunity to dislodge the ball from the Minions and "Predator" even managed to get his hands on it! Sadly he didn't hear the shouts of "Punt" from the sidelines before the Minions got the ball back on the floor. The last hope for stopping the score was the deathroller who had been waiting in the backfield. Crushing the ballcarrier was the easy part and with the deathroller right in front of the ball the score looked like it had been stopped. The minions and their usual insider dealings with Nuffle had other things to say as they sauntered past the waiting deathroller (that they failed to knock over), picked the ball up right under its nose and sprinted into the end-zone to cries of "Booooo" from the crowd.

At half time the ref spotted the deathroller and sent him off the field and with only 10 men now remaining the stunts knew that this would be an up hill struggle. Thankfully the experience and expertise of "Predator" came through and after sprinting up the left flank, he dummied and was able to switch sides and surprise the Minions with a quick score up the right that there was little they could do to prevent.

The same 10 stunts then set to the field knowing that they had the difficult task of stopping this well oiled killing machine from grinding into the end-zone in the remaining time of the half. Sadly there was little that they could do so late in the game apart from thank their lucky stars that no-one died (although only due to the great skill of the team Apoc) and watch as the Minions calmly ran the ball into the end-zone.

Some are already calling this the match of the season and others have been heard to speculate that the stunts may even be the only team to have the guts to play the evil Minons this time round. Having missed out on the playoffs for the last two season the stunts will now concentrate on ensuring that they can get the results to ensure them a premiership chance next season.”
