“Game 5, Season XXI
A poor game by the Gauls. The Norse played solidly and conservatively, knocking us down consistently. We had 2-4 players KO'd for most of the game. In contrast we couldn't knock any over ourselves. The Norse taunted us with some unncessary 1 die blocks without resorting to any rerolls.
The Norse seemed content to take their time to score in the first half and although the catcher, Mundi had to go-for-it at the end to make the line, they didn't stumble. We had an outside chance of a OTT on the kickoff but Polysyllabix, within reach of the endzone, couldn't catch the bomb from deep in the backfield.
Second half we fluffed about without much direction. We murdered a few chances to setup for a score by failing the crucial blocks or dodges and then left ourselves open for a JFK to get sacked. Outnumbered and out of position, the Norse scored their second comfortably.

1 turn to go the elves tried to pull off some dastardly tricks of making a touch down, luckily for the Norse the long bomb of a throw was unsuccessfully caught. First half end.
Second half saw all the KOs for the elves come back. They played well not rushing my side of the field until all was settled. As they started to make ground they soon left the Thrower in an open position for a risky blitz. Well Víðfari loved that and off he charged dodging through a tackle zone to sack the ball carrier. After this is went down hill for the elves, who tried to make opportunities but the Norse thwarted them, yonked the ball and scored again.
Longshanks was a champ who took the luck on his chin. Good luck with the rest of the tournament. 2 wins and 2 losses for DC will put you on top! If there is a chance, then it can happen.

3 votes - #3 Beefix - for making a huge attempt at recovering the ball, dodging through all 3 tackle zones of Blitzer Sigarr, picking up the ball within a tackle zone but ultimately failing to dodge away from the other Blizter Víðfari. All without a RR.
