“Game 33

A virus swept through the Chaos team prior to the game, leaving two of the star players unable to play. Vis and Bellua were both out with the sniffles. Schola won the toss and received first, getting stuck straight in with a 1st turn foul from Auris taking Timi of the pitch, then a 2nd turn foul removing Nanfi, followed by a 3rd turn foul which removed Vinebi. Fortunately for the Khaz Modan Drudgers, the ref saw this one, and Auris was sent off for the rest of the game. Turn 5 saw Campitor score for Schola, giving the dwarves 4 turns to equalize. An early break for Schola when Rnil failed to catch a ball saw the Chaos team in possession again. An unfortunate failed gfi with reroll to put Bellator II in the clear saw the score 1-0 going into the second half with the Khaz Modan Drudgers receiving.

A blitz on the kickoff looked good, but Schola failed to follow up. The Chaos team recovered the ball, but lost it again, then Nuffle frowned on them with a failed 2d blitz on the ball carrier, followed by a failed gfi to blitz the ball carrier, followed by another failed gfi to get a 2d blitz on the ball carrier, all with a reroll. Sometimes, there isn't anything that can be done =)

Khaz Modan played well to get the tie, and I hope to get a rematch in the future.
