“An interesting match, to say the least.
Luck was on the side of the Chaos early on in the game, and it did not look good for the Orc team, as Guardians of the Cup took an early 1-0 lead in the first half.
However, on the next drive, the winds of luck seemed to have shifted. After some good armor breaks, and the Guardian's Star Player getting Seriously Injured, Deadland Flashgitz ties it up 1-1 on the last turn of the first half.
With a couple Guardians missing the next drive, and only having 10 to field, it did not look good for the Guardians... especially since they were kicking off to the full strength Deadland team.
After some wierd disconnection issues between turns 2 and 3... Nuffle made it clear that the underdog should advance. Deadland receiving the ball, began working their way up the field... but not many of his players would finish this drive.
One player killed by a Chaos warrior, another KO'd by a blitzer... a beastman blitzed the ball carrier. The ball carrier dumped the ball off to an orc blitzer, who ran for cover... but only to find himself sidelined by the Guardians Minotaur.
The throw in dropping right in front of an AG4 Chaos warrior, was all the Guardians needed to fight the ball up the field for the go ahead touch down.
Scoring on turn 8, while the Orcs only had 2 players left on the field, the Guardians win it 2-1.
Nuffle definately decided this match, but well played anyway by coach Fejd.
Even with the gods against him, he never gave up, and went down still swinging.
Good game, Fejd!”
