“The game began with 2 rats missing and to exacerbate it Slawterra was arrested and led away, while the 2 star Gutter Runners Skitterlings & Tunnels, with a combined 19 TDs to their names, were arguing about who was the greatest. They decided to take turns on the field to see who could score more. Skitterlings opened the scoring in the 3rd turn with a smooth break from the field.
The amazon fans kidnapped the ref at the next kickoff and dirty Melanie almost ended the career of Rabies Boy before it had started (bonus pay for the apoth this round). The amazons had the ball in control and things were looking dire, until a simple block failed and no rerolls were left! Tunnels pounced on the ball and sprinted clear to run over in turn 7.
The second half started with 9 players v 15 and much jostling of the pack saw Skitterlings primed to score 1 step from the line. But he dropped the ball right into the hands of Joan A who raced away and Maryrose Crook waltzed over for the TD to bring it to 2-1.
The last kickoff saw Tunnels go deep and draw the defense, while SpiderMonkey ran up supported by the storm vermin. A blast from the fireball missed everyone and SpiderMonkey ran over for the points.
Good game by kiwi but unlucky in crucial rolls. Needs to leave someone back in defense as well ;)
