#1 Kisthamotaru – Dead (RIP)
Well, I wasn't originally intending to try and win this one but just to survive it, but I never seem to stick to that plan for very long.

First half we chose to receive, mainly just to reduce the chance of having the whole team beaten up before the second half. It was a topsy turvy half, but in the end Z'aghigo got away with the ball and scored just before half time.

In the short amount of time left, Kisthamotaru made a miserable end to a fairly mediocre career getting fouled to death by a dirty player with less than half his strength. The apo had already been used to save one of the more valuable Sauri so there was no coming back.

Early in the second half, the lizards made a kick that landed in the touchdown zone, followed by a blitz. An un-rerollable failed block from Vis ended Schola's turn earlier than they would have liked, and Lakephu dived on top of the ball that was only marked by one player and scored.

This left the lizards a comfortable 2-0 up. Schola were hard to stop from scoring on the next play, but given the ball again the lizards made a few good chain blocks to push lakephu into the clear for a 3-1 win.

Sotek's monks now look likely to be heading to Premier after just 2 seasons, although I'm really far from convinced they'e ready for it.

Twanhloes:
3 Dominus Quod - Tackling my skinks off the field left right and center, only 1 cas but plenty of knock outs as well.
2 Fera - Carried the ball down the field for their touchdown, only to give the ball to Pugna on the line who stole the credit.
1 Auris - Did everyone a favour by getting rid of Kisthamotaru

#1 Vis – Dead (RIP)
Game 35

The pregame went well for Sotek, with them getting I am the Greatest as a handicap, then winning the coin toss and receiving first. Schola was able to force the ball loose, then calmly collected it and put it in a half cage. That is when things started to go south. A 2d block on a skink had the both down block selected due to the coaches momentary vision of a babe in the crowd. This put Schola's ball carrier in range for a blitz, which popped the ball loose, and then a sneaky skink picked it up in a TZ after multiple dodges. Campitor promptly popped the ball free again, but then another coach miscalculation saw a 2d against block that ended up with a beastman on the ground, the ball not covered at all despite having players that hadn't moved yet. Another skink grabbed the ball, and was about to be bought unstuck when yet another coaching mistake saw an attempted dodge into a TZ when there was a much safer no TZ dodge to get the blitz on the ball carrier. This gave the lizardmen an easy run over the line, making the score 1-0 going into second half with Schola receiving.

A blitz occurred on the kickoff, but the damage was minimized by Schola's positioning. An unfortunate mishap early in the turn involving a Minotaur and many skulls let the lizardmen who had snuck through the line take possesion of the ball and score with a dodge into a TZ and ball pickup in a TZ. The score now 2-0, with 7 turns to go, it looked grim for the Chaos team. 3 turns later and the score was 2-1, with 4 turns left to equalise. Unfortunately Schola was unable to stop the lightning fast lizards, making the score 3-0 at the end.
