#15 Víðfari – Smashed Hip (-MA)
“What looked like another horrendous match that has plagued the Blind Eye of Odin for most of the current season of SWL. The game actually turned around and the Blind Eye of Odin were able to pull off a draw against the Rottnest Raiders.
The rats came out hitting hard and sending Blind Eye players to the casualty boxes, the best Blind Eye of Odin could muster were KO’s. But they were enough as it evened out the field and the Blind Eye of Odin were able to score.
With the final kick the Blind Eye of Odin received and were able to fend off the rats to pull off the draw.
The fans where indifferent for which team they liked the most. Firstly they threw rocks at the Blind Eye of Odin, then came a timely pitch invasion downing about 70% of the Rottnest Raiders for the kick off. In the end the fans liked the hard fought effort from both teams for the draw and everyone gained some fans.
Sadly Víðfari gained himself another gammy leg and will likely be retired soon when the Blind Eye of Odin are relegated back to the regionals.
Well played JumpingJezza, again sorry for the whining, it’s still something I don’t have a check on.

Skitterlings sacked the Norse quarterback on the next kickoff, but Sigarr cleared the way for the Norse to pickup and form a cage. the cage moved down the field slowly until the Doom and Gloom that handicapped the Raiders left them out of rerolls and out of position after a failed block. The Norse ran over the line at the end of the half to take the score to 1-1.
The 2nd half started badly with all 4 KOs failing. The Minotaur then multiblocked a path clear for Mundi to stroll thru and score quickly. 1-2.
The next kickoff was a horror with the fans stunning 6 Raiders and RazzleRat fumbling the pickup. However the Minotaur multi-blocked 1 too many times and SpiderMonkey scampered through the hole and scored! 2-2.
2 turns to go and the Raiders almost did it, but Mundi managed to hold onto the ball well and kill the chance of a TD in the last turn.
Good game from Mach who turned around a horror start. Good luck for me with Slawterra getting 2 CAS and finally skilling up. (rolled doubles to get Block! Yay!)
