“Season XXIII - Game 1
Game was an enjoyable match hindered by server crash and reload troubles.
The Undead recieved first and managed a lucky td in turn 8 of the half, with the surrounded ballcarrier dodging into a tacklezone and dodging again to freedom.
The elves replied quickly after just 2 turns with a pretty scrappy td but it did the job equalising the match.
The undead looked set to score but lost the ball due to a blitz from the elves in turn 7 of the 2nd half. The blodging elf left holding the ball with his fans hoping a draw might be possible. It wasnt to be with a ghoul smacking him with a pow. The ball was lost and the winning td scored in the dying stages of the game.

Like eagle said, there was a lucky TD in T8 of the first half with a Ghoul needed to make a 4+ Dodge followed by a 3+ Dodge to score. Thankfully he did and it set things up nicely for the second half.
The Undead were unable to stop the Elves from scoring in T2 of the second half, despite a great kick that landed in the back corner of the Elf end zone. Beat 2, a freakish AG6 Elf was able to catch the ball under pressure and Dodge away for a score.
This wasn't too bad a result as it gave the Undead 7 turns to bash their way up the field for a matchwinning TD. The Elves didn't give up easily though. On a couple of occasions the ball carrying Ghoul had to Dodge his way out of heavy traffic to avoid being taken down.
All looked good in T14 with the endzone in sight. However some good moves by the Elves got them a 2d Block on the ball carrying Ghoul who was taken down. To make things worse, the ball scattered to a Blodging Elf who was happy to keep it. Luckyily I was able to make a 2d block on him and take him down with a POW. A Wight picked up the scattered ball (on the second attempt) and thankfully made both GFI rolls to score the gamewinning TD.
Overall I had a lot of fun, despite the issues we had getting the game to load after the server crash. eagle009 was a good sport throughout the whole game and I look forward to a possible rematch in a future season.

3 votes: Beat II - With AG6 and MV7, there is almost nowhere this guy can't get to. He was a constant worry for me the whole game when I was on Offence and he scored the elves only TD.
2 votes: Discomfit - His Guard ability came into play several times and allowed to elves to make what looked like a game-saving Block.
