“The failed pass early in the first half really set this game up from me. Despite losing a ST4 Zombie and a Blodging Ghoul to niggles before the game, and a Mummy to a foul in the first half (thankfully regen'd) I was able to scoop up the fumbled ball and head for the end zone.
Some good CAS really opened it up for me and allowed me to get a numerical advantage. From there it was a matter of weathering the storm. Spidermonkey, a Blodging Gutter Runner was able to get a couple of good hits on the ball carrier, but thankfully they were all 2d my way and I was able to avoid any double Pow results. Things nearly took a bad turn when my ST6 Mummy rolled a double 1 on a GFI to Block Spidermonkey. Luckily though I was able to recover and run the clock down and score for a 2-0 win.
A possible shot at Premier is now an outside chance. I am tied for second spot with 2 games remaining. Unfortunately they are against the top 2 teams. A loss against the Amazons will leave me needing a win against the Orcs to take out second spot and a probable Premier league spot. It's a tough ask but I just might be able to pull it off.

3 Votes: Spidermonkey - This Gutter Runner never gave up, constantly putting his body on the line to take a -2d Block at the ballcarrier. He didn't quite succeed but it was very ballsy nonetheless.
2 Votes: Bliven of Geordie Bay - Made the most Blocks out of all the rats and was a constant annoyance with his Guard skill.
