#15 Hoppy – Dead (RIP)
“In a well played game that saw it share of brutal hits, fouls and wonderoius action our necros prevailed in a hard fought victory. We started out slow taking one on the chin as a foul to a golem koed him and a later foul bh one of our wolfs. After the second foul we struck back by killing a zombie and hurting another. With the first half in question we made a play to knock the ball out and it was sucessfull. His ghoul was unable to pick the ball back up and we took a 0-0 tie to half. Still undermaned and facing the rath to come from the mummies we made a bold move that paid off by us running in a 4th turn score. Some good ko rolls and a wonderfully thrown rock that koed a mummy on the kick off and we were back in business. My oppenets ghoul made a late run for a td but our best wolf made the stop and sealing the win. Lost in the game sadly was our ghoul with block and guard. He will sorley be missed but we will fight even harder to win to preserve his memory. Great game that was well played on both sides. Some day we will need to square back off to give those mummies another chance at victory.”
The game ended the careers of a player from each team. What? Me Worry?, a str 4 zombie, on the Roster of the Dead, was delivered some serious pain on an especially horrendous foul delivered by Zombie Pain. What? Me Worry? failed to regenerate and shall remain 6 feet down forever more. Later in the half Hoppy, of the Nasty Necromatics, was given the boot along with a large dose of death on a highly illegal play by BusBaby, the dirtiest player this side of Middenheim.
On a side note BusBaby was finally ejected from the game after a third arguement with the ref. The ref surely had enough of Busbaby's shenanigans after receiving several death threats from Nasty Necromatic fans and one anonymous player after the second argument.
During a slightly less bloody second half, Theeth, the star Werewolf of the Nasty Necromatics scored the games only TD, and along with 23 rushing yards and 11 blocks was this reporters pick for player of the game!
