I got the first drive, and a double 1 for a throw didn't start things well. I fluffed a play to retrieve the ball and OB managed to get his players around my defense. 1-0 before I could blink, although OB did toy with stalling I'm sure. All that side-stepping blodge made things tough going.
Second play and I thought I'd set up my ball carrier wide out of reach of his players....think again. He managed a 2-die block and sacked the ball carrier, only to score again. 2-0 down.
Second half and I tried to get to OBs ball carrier in the back half of his line, but played too defensively and didn't send all of my players forward. Nuffle didn't help, but due to a lack of players I couldn't get the ball. By that stage I think I'd given up. 2-0 the final score.
Good game OB, best of luck for the rest of the season. As for the Picnic, things weren't all bad. Some good skills (finally have a ss Blodge!) , no permanent injuries, and we stay at FF 20. It could have been worse.
