“A very very tough game in which I was fighting Nuffle as well as a solid coach throughout.

Coach crushkilldeath exposed his blitzer Blade in my backfield early on, and after knocking him over my DP closed in. But he only got a KO and was sent off on the first foul of the game, after which it was pretty much all downhill for me.

A KO and BH made it 10 on 8 in his favour, and the orcs inevitably rumbbled up the pitch. But he made a slight error in leaving his cage early and exposed his ball carrier to a blitz, but I snake eyed the GFI I needed and he ran in for the score. But it was arguably too early in the half as it gave me 3 turns to reply. I broke down one flank but then fumbbled a pass with another 1, and with a 1 dice blitz he cleared out my man stood over the ball and then it bounced right into his players hands. But I then got my one sequence of luck just when I needed it, and I did my onw 1db on his player, knocking the ball loose for my witch elf to recover in two tackle zones and pass it to Hurshac Steelfist for the score.

Ther second half started with both teams getting the ref, which would only spell bad news with my depleted numbers. In the space of two turns two blocks and a foul sent two linos and my witch elf to the injury box, and, after the the blodging lino I had got near to the endzone stacked it with yet another snake-eyes when dodging away and was then fouled off the pitch, my only hope of scoring was gone and I was basically reduced to running away for the rest of the half.
