One of those games where little could go wrong for us.

Chavo drove forward, slipping to Gutter Runners through our defence and cheekily fouling Shocks with no assists for a Stun! We tagged the runners, so Chavo switched to moving more slowly up field and caging the ball.

Some 1s for Chavo meant Brittany could clear the ball and we pressed forward, attempting to escape Chavo’s Runners who were geared to strip the ball. We eventually managed to get the ball to the line and push a runner into the bargain. 1-0…and a few reloads later.

Chavo’s second drive, this time we managed to KO a few rats and tried out our new Leaper to break open Chavo’s cage. It worked but we couldn’t grab the ball. Chavo rolled badly again and we didn’t put Paris in range of scoring and 1-0 was the score in the first half.

Second half and we moved forward, with an impressive 3 KO round of blocking and fouls. Chavo tried to even things up with his own blocking, BH’ing Brittany, but we held the advantage and got Paris over the line. 2-0.

Chavo pushed forward aggressively, removing a few elves to take the lead in the Cas count, and slipped a runner past our lines. Failed GFI’s meant the runner got over the line for a well earned TD, the final result, 2-1.

Thanks for the game, Chavo, was very enjoyable. Best of luck with the rest of the season.

#3 - Angry Andrew – Got a cas, always threatened.

#2 - Disco Dan – was everywhere, targeting ball carriers and causing mischief.

#1 - Maniacal Mikey – did well for a big fella.

Season XXVIII

The Blackwater Blitz continue their what is widely believed to be short run in Premier with another 16 turns of far too many 1's being rolled...

This match was far closer than the previous rout, but with another fine coach at the helm of the Dark Elves, the Picnic were never troubled.

The first time ever the Blitz has won the CAS count for a third game running, and also the first time they have gone 3 matches without SI or death - Seems like this premier stuff is the recovery season we asked for!!!

Twanlows
3 points - Brittany Spears. Double 1'd a hand-off to score to see her leap into 4 zones to get the ball and pass it out. Ended scoring with a crowd surf. Classy...
2 points - Paris Hilton III. Bagged the second which put the game out of reach.
1 point - Manfred von Richthofen. Still giving me nightmares from last week.
Honourable Mention - Thumbscrews II. Single handedly broke one of the Blitz's drives.
