“The Sonemasons rebound with a glorious victory to warm the hearts of their fans.

Belvain won the toss and opted to receive, hoping for the boring old "let em score then win 2-1" routine.... and that pretty much sums up the game.

Lizzies scored turn 2; giving the Stonemasons 7 turns to grind. Receiving the kickoff the ball was given to the new kid - Tarero Blackquarry. He was caged up tightly and the liz couldnt get anywhere near him. Meanwhile plenty of bashing and the odd sneaky foul left the liz a few players short on the pitch. A lucky block half way down the pitch kncocked over Tarero but the ball bounced straight into the hands of Belvains other Runner. The cage rolled on; Tarero got up and caught up, was given back the ball then stood around cleaning his nails and waving to the fans for a few turns before scoring at the end of the half.

Second half was more of the same boring old Dorf magic. Received, gave it to Tarero, caged him up. Bashed and fouled the liz down to 4 or 5 players. A sneaky skink block dislodged the ball but again it was easily recovered and given back to Tarero to score turn 8.

All in all it was business as usual, but helped greatly by plenty of BH and KO.


3pt: #3 Decametre - frenzy block break tacke saurus. The only lizard to really get stuck in - he did half of the lizards blocks single handedly. I tried to DP foul him out but only managed a KO.
2pt: #12 atom ant - 2d against block to stop a dwarf TD nearly paid off.
1pt: #11 Bender of Rules - he scored. And survived to tell hsi mates about it.”
