“I'd like to think that eventually a true rivialry could form between these two teams, but this game was plagued by "time rift" issues that cast a sour taste over an excellent battle.
Dwarves caged up as usual and proceeded to grind us up. Some loose play as they crossed the half way line gave us a hit on the ball, but failure to dodge out was punished with the eventual TD.
We took the 2nd half by storm with an audacious little pass play that went for a T2 touchdown, but it was over ruled by the proxy umpire! So a synch job into a 2-ball problem eventuated. T4 things were back in shape as we managed to keep a missed pass in their half so as to pick it up and score.
With 4 turns to defend the draw the Crises went into prevent mode. Some good netting was aided by some good luck. When Poetry Night managed to push off a key block the draw was assured.
Nuffle was not kind in the cash and FF dept, and also decided to age Guitar Hero on his 51st spp, but such is Mid-Life ;)

First half started well - Dorfs received and did what they do best: Bored the crowd for 8 turns then scored Second half saw the humans score again. The dorfs had a late crack at a win but fell a few squares short - lacking the pace to really threaten.
3pt: #11 Poetry Night - scored the humans TD and stopped the dorfs winner!
2pt: #14 Swinger: The biggest human and did his best to stand up to the big scary dorfs
1pt: #12 Credit Crunch: should be renamed "Marshmallow Puff" or something else appropriately pansy. Two DP gang fouls and the best he got was a stunned.”
