“Our gobbos are back in action; their last game was vs chaos dwarves and saw two goblins permanently removed (including our +STR) and 3 MNGs. We have 10 but so do squaq's vampires- and both their niggles are able to play.

We opt to receive, and immediately KO one of the three vamps he sets up on the LOS. A troll both-down vs their block vamp on turn 2 gives them a chance at the ball though good scatters means they can't get it. We recover and move forwards. By now both teams have used their apo - us to save a kill and them to keep their DP from being badly hurt!

We try and cause some damage, largely failing though we are keeping the ball safe. They manage to KILL another gobbo with a thrall block however! Eventually they go for a risky blitz on the ball carrier who's stalling by their endzone and choose to push him so they will have 2 turns to try and equalise this half.

We set up on the LOS ... and a thrall 2 block niggles our new troll! OUCH! They follow up with a MNG on a gobbo with their blitz. Down to 7 players vs 10 now.. Dat's Me blitzes in a rage, MNG'ing the nearest thrall! On their final turn they go for the touchdown with no rerolls, making every roll until the final thrall catch - phew!

It's now 7 vs 9 for the second half and we are 1-0 up but only have one troll left. But we roll a blitz and they've left Dat's Me unmarked... he charges forwards and badly hurts the thrall facing him! They easily move the ball past our few players who rushed into their half, but their DP thrall - faced with our very, very angry troll - tries to dodge away and ends up badly hurt!! But Dat's Me just turns around and 3d blitzes a different thrall, MNG'ing him! That's 3 cas in 3 turns (not counting the DP dodge) since the other troll got niggled!!

They are now in a scoring position, but they go for a 3d block on a SS/DT gobbo meaning he can sidestep neatly into a position to stop the TD attempt. The following turn we get all our gobbos back and blitz him over with super-gobbo Gimp, who also picks up the loose ball! It's 7 of us vs 5 of them now, but a nice turn means they are able to hypno gaze a key gobbo, then KO gimp, then dodge through with a vamp, picking up the ball and GFI'ing to make it 1-1!

With Gimp remaining KO'd we have 6 vs 5 of them, including all 3 vampires. Come on OFAB rolls! And indeed their first two vamp moves are 1s, stunning and then niggling a thrall. We get the ball up one side, with all our players trying to guard it- but they are able to gaze their way through for their AGI5 block vamp to blitz over the ball carrier. He then trips on a GFI to get by the ball so we surround him and foul him into the KO box. The ball changes hands a couple times, but on turn 7 we're able to grab it and run towards the endzone. Their last ditch vamp blitz can only push and we're able to dodge in and score on the final turn of the half to win the game!!
